“Vachan Prerna Din” also called as Reading Inspiration Day is celebrated on October 15th every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s former President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The day is a tribute to Dr. Kalam, who was a scientist, leader, and a great proponent of reading and writing. The purpose of this day is to motivate students and others to develop reading as a hobby.
