Guru Nanak College of Education and Research organized session  on Menstruation and Personal Hygiene, conducted by Shahroz Ma’am and Soni Ma’am, to spread awareness, debunk myths, and emphasize personal hygiene. The seminar included interactive discussions, pre-test and post-test assessments, and a PowerPoint presentation that enhanced understanding.

Shahroz Ma’am explained the biological process of menstruation, the female reproductive system, and its role in a woman’s body. She also addressed myths related to menstruation, providing scientific explanations to counter misconceptions. Soni Ma’am focused on personal hygiene and self-care, offering practical tips on maintaining cleanliness, changing sanitary products, staying hydrated, and managing menstrual discomfort effectively. Session was ended with distribution of goody bags. The session was informative and engaging, creating a safe space for discussions. The seminar concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the guest speakers by IC Principal Dr. Aradhana Gokhle Ma’am. This initiative successfully fostered an open dialogue on menstruation, promoting awareness and hygiene practices among participants.
