Guru Nanak College of Education and Research organized an online session on Financial Awareness on 13th February 2025 to raise awareness about financial management, budgeting, and investment strategies. Conducted via Zoom, For S.Y.B.Ed. and F.Y.B.Ed.
Mr. Sunil Kumar was the guest speaker, a financial planning expert. Mr. Kumar shared insights on budgeting, saving, investment strategies, financial goal setting, and the importance of financial discipline. He emphasized the benefits of early financial planning and making informed financial decisions.
The session was interactive, with participants engaging in discussions and clarifying doubts. Mr. Kumar highlighted the necessity of financial literacy and encouraged disciplined financial habits.
The Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with NSDL, has launched a certification program to educate students on personal finance. This initiative aligns with India’s goal of strengthening financial literacy and economic growth.
