National Librarian’s Day

IQAC of Guru Nanak College of Education & Research organized National Level Online Quiz on National Librarian’s Day.

I/C Principal and convener Dr. Aradhana Gokhale encouraged and motivated for organizing this Online Quiz. Co-ordinator Dr. Sujana Florence and Mrs. Bhavana Kadam prepared the quiz with zeal and enthusiasm.

National Librarian’s Day is celebrated in India on 12th August, on the birth anniversary of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, who is considered as the ‘Father of Library Science’. This day is celebrated annually as a way to celebrate the work that librarians do as well as educating the local community about the importance and necessity of libraries in education and any other field
