Guru Nanak Vidyak Society’s Guru Nanak College of Education and Research and Guru Nanak College of Elementary Teacher Education organized a One Day State Level Orientation program of TET on 1st November 2025 at Multi Purpose Hall. The program was scheduled for all the teacher aspirants who have completed their B.Ed and D.El.Ed course as well as doing their course. A “TET orientation programme” is an introductory session to help aspiring teachers prepare for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), focusing on the exam’s structure, syllabus, and strategies for success. For in-service teachers, an orientation program is a professional development course that provides training on new educational methodologies, recent curriculum changes, and teaching skills. Such programs helps to prepare aspiring teachers for the Teacher Eligibility Test, which is a mandatory exam in India for teaching positions from Classes I to VIII. These courses cover topics like Pedagogy, Child Development, and the relevant subject matter and learning the structure and question patterns of specific TET exams like CTET, MAHA TET etc. It is the process of preparation of the student teachers which typically involves understanding the syllabus, using quality study materials, taking mock tests, and practicing regularly. GNCER organized this program under the guidance and support of the management and permission of Dr. Aradhana Gokhale, I/C Principal of Guru Nanak College of Education and Research and Ms. Sangeetha S., I/C Principal of Guru Nanak College of Elementary Teacher Education. The orientation program involved 4 important sessions by highly educated resource persons who are pioneers in the field of education and perfect persons to guide the future teachers.
