Resume Writing and Facing Interview 2022

On  21st March 2022 Guru Nanak College of Education and Research organised workshop on Resume Writing and Facing Interview. The workshop was conducted by Shripad Parkhe Sir.  

Shripad Sir explained about Resume being the personal information of the candidate which reaches the interviewer before the candidate. Resume is important for elimination or short-listing.

The principles of writing CV were discussed:

  • CV should be matching to the position for which the candidate is applying.
  • It should be kept simple.
  • Minimum verifiable relevant information should be there in the CV.
  • Most important information should be written first.

Sir explained the components of a Resume which are Name, Objectives, work Experience, Educational qualifications, Project details, Achievements (Academic, Co-curricular).

In the second half of the session, Parkhe Sir shared tips for facing the interview. Sir also guided about appropriate dressing for the interview.

The workshop was interesting and very informative. The resume key points, and interview tips were very well explained, and Sir also cleared the students’ doubts about resume and some interview questions.
