Today our college Guru Nanak college of education and research had organised talk on POCSO act by Mr. Ganesh Lotan Akhade. He is a
advocate and worked in many organisations and NGOS. POCSO is the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and was enacted in India
in 2012 to address sexual abuse and exploitation of children. This legislation is a significant step in creating a comprehensive legal
framework for the protection of children from sexual offenses, while ensuring a child-friendly process for the investigation and trial of such
offenses. He also talked about Badlapur recently case, the workshop was very interesting and We are very thankful to them and our college too for
conducting such workshops for us.
