Guru Nanak College of Education and Research recently organized a workshop on IBM Skill Build in collaboration with Pratham InfoTech Foundation, focusing on skill-based learning for student-teachers. Pratham InfoTech Foundation, a non-profit organization working to bridge the digital divide in India, facilitates the adoption of information technology in education and empowers disadvantaged youth with the skills needed for the global economy. Partnering with IBM SkillsBuild, the foundation is committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of young people, helping them succeed in the workforce.
The workshop, led by Mr. Vishal Kamble, covered a wide range of topics including professional skills, interview preparation, artificial intelligence, IT fundamentals, employability skills, and effective job search strategies. He gave demonstration to student-teachers about online platform for AI course. At the conclusion of the session, student-teachers received IBM Skills Build online certifications via email. This certification will enhance their prospects in the job market. The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for student-teachers aiming to enhance their employability and succeed in their professional careers.
