Eid-E- Milad & Gandhi Jayanti 2021

Guru Nanak College of Education & Research organized an online celebration on 22nd October, 2021. The celebration was on EID-E-MILAD and GANDHI JAYANTI. The session was conducted by GROUP 4 in the presence of I/C Principal, all the Staff members and S.Y.B.Ed. students. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the celebration was conducted virtually through zoom platform. As it was an online celebration e-cards were given to everyone. It started around 10 a.m. with prayer Mol Mantra and Saraswati Vadana. The celebration begins by welcoming everyone and then led the celebration by giving us a glimpse of Gandhiji’s philosophy and his contribution in Education in the form of Nai Talim and the importance of three monkeys. As a part of Gandhi Jayanti, we did with a small fun activity of drawing of Gandhiji. After the celebration of Gandhi Jayanthi, we continued with EID-MILAD-UN- NABI celebration. The program begins with the importance of EID-E-MILAD and why its celebrated. It’s continued the celebration by explaining how they celebrate the festival, different kind of food, dress, and customs shown by different pictures of the celebration followed by small video clip showing how it has been celebrated in different countries. The celebration was over with the wishes and at the end a group picture of all the teachers and students was captured. In this way we ended up with the celebration with lots of zeal.
