India is land of festivals and to celebrate one such festival the students of Guru Nanak College of Education and Research, Bhandup celebrated Diwali virtually on 11th November, 2020 on Zoom.com. at 11 a.m. The programme commenced sharp at 11.00 a.m. with Saraswati Vandana and hailing the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom and Moolmatra was recited Student -teachers presented a video in which they showed how they had made a lantern for her house with material available at home, decorated diyas for diwali,and making of Rangoli .After that Student teacher explained important of various day of Diwali followed by a small arti for Laxmi poojan. Thus, the Virtual Diwali Celebration was nothing less than a usual one and it ended with wishing each other a Happy and safe Diwali.
