Makar Sankranti, Lori and Pongal 2022

An event to celebrate Harvest festivals of India was organised by Group 8 of Dr Antonio Da Silva Internship group. The main focus was on Makar Sankranti, Lori and Pongal. The program was started with Saraswathi Vandana, Mool Mantra followed by PowerPoint presentation on Lori and the importance of celebration Lori, Pongal, and Makar Sankranti the delicacies and ritual are done in the Lori festival. Different games were also organised like ‘Guess the festival’, kite tombola and online Jigsaw puzzle was played. Teachers and students participated with great joy and excitement. The winners were announced at the end of the game. A social message regarding farmer was given in the end. With lots of enthusiasm and zeal program come to an end.
