Holi Celebrations

Holi is the great festival of colours, celebrated every year by the people in India. Holi festival falls every year in the spring season in the month of March. Holi festival celebration starts at the last day of Phalgun by the Holika Dahan in the evening and colour play in the next morning. Children wait for this festival with lots of courage and happiness and starts collecting colourful colours, balloons, buckets filled with colored water, pichakri, etc to play Holi.

Guru Nanak College of Education and Research celebrated this colour celebration with lots of enthusiasm. The celebration had dance performances and group singing by students.

The program ended on an note that many times situations create  an aura which makes life look black and white but to dominate the winds we need to fulfil it with lots of colours; thus we would be able to spread the joy of happiness and enjoyment in our as well as others life
